Dans Le Cafe

Parisian cafés have been a part of the fabric of the city for centuries, and they continue to be a popular spot for locals and tourists alike. They are a great place to people-watch. Waiters come and go serving each customer that arrives. Multiple conversations between people are mixed with the noise of glasses and plates. There are people who come in groups to eat something light and others simply have a cup of coffee or a glass of wine and watch the world go by. The scene looks like a play in which everyone has a role to perform.

The Sub

Subway trains in New York City are often crowded, and the commute can be long. However, I have found that the challenges of subway travel can also be rewarding. Is a microcosm of the city. It is a place where people from all background come together, each with their own unique stamp. There are the commuters, rushing to work or school and there are the everyday people, just trying to get by.

No matter who they are, subway travelers share a common bond. They are all part of the city, and they all rely on the subway to get around. The subway is a lifeline for many people, and it is a vital part of the city's infrastructure.

Las Setas de Sevilla

The Metropol Parasol, popularly known as the Mushrooms of the Incarnation or Setas, is a wooden structure with 2 concrete columns that hold the access elevators to the viewpoint and is located in the central Plaza de la Encarnación in the city of Seville. It measures 150 x 70 metres and is approximately 26 metres high. It was the winning project in the competition opened by the Seville City Council to carry out the renovation of the square in which it is located; its designer was the architect from Berlin, Jürgen Mayer. The structure consists of six large, mushroom-shaped parasols, whose design is inspired by the arches of Seville's cathedral and the ¨ficus¨ of nearby Plaza del Cristo de Burgos.

Street Moments

Streets are a part of everyday life for most people. We walk them, drive them, and sometimes even live on them. But what about the moments that happen on streets? . The small, everyday interactions that we often are part of them. So next time you're on a street, take a moment to look around and see the people around you. You might just be surprised by what you see.

Urban Shadows

Shadows can help us to see the world in a new way to reveal the hidden details of a scene by adding depth and dimension. They are everywhere we look, from the smallest blades of grass to the tallest skyscrapers as part of our everyday lives that can make a source of mystery. It can be used to create beauty, to evoke emotion, and to explore the depths of a parallel world.

The Richard Gilder Center

The Richard Gilder Center for Science, Education, and Innovation is the latest addition to New York’s historic American Museum of Natural Science in 2023. Conceived from the inside-out, the design vastly improves functionality and visitor experience for the entire Museum campus. Natural form-making processes informed the architecture. Akin to a porous geologic formation shaped by the flow of wind and water, the building’s central, five-story atrium greets arriving visitors like an intriguing landscape, ready to be explored. Opening the building to natural daylight, the atrium structure also provides intriguing views into different spaces while bridging physical connections between them. Its structural walls and arches carry the building’s gravity loads. It is constructed using shotcrete, a technique primarily used for infrastructure, which sprays structural concrete directly onto rebar cages that were digitally modeled and custom-bent. Eliminating the waste of formwork, the technique achieves a seamless, visually and spatially continuous interior, whose form extends outward to greet the park and neighborhood beyond.
